Window of Opportunity

Singer Laren features a brand new artwork by Alice Héron. It is the fourth in a series of presentations entitled Window of Opportunity. Young talented artists are invited to make a work especially for the monumental window of the theater.
The location makes it visible to both visitors and passers-by. During opening hours, the artwork can be viewed without a museum or theater ticket. Reservations are not necessary.
Alice Héron created the work Sakura especially for Singer Laren. Inspired by a recent trip to Japan, Alice refers to the season of spring blossom with the color pink: Sakura. The brightly colored shapes meander through the space like a living organic: beautiful and threatening at the same time. In this way Alice expresses the life that proliferates within the urban environment of our industrialized world. In the Netherlands, the young Frenchwoman experiences that nature is controlled and literally contained. In her work, Héron lets nature take over our petrified world again.
Window of Opportunity is made possible by Keep an Eye Foundation and Galerie Pouloeuff.
